Jizzal Man is Keeping it ‘Turned Up’

Atlanta-based artist, Jizzal Man wants the fans to be excited about the new him, and his new music.

Although Jizzal is known for the hits he made as a member of Dem Franchise Boyz, he has been doing music on his own for some time.

Jizzal’s transformation has come with time. He’s lost 80 pounds by not eating as much as he used to. He wants to keep dancing. “They (the fans) know me from dance records, so I just wanna kind of keep them feeling good about the music, and not feel too too hard where they feel like they can’t dance or anything anymore.”

The group collectively known as Den Franchise Boyz produced hits including, “White Tee,” and “Lean With, Rock With it,” in 2004 and 2005. Jizzal still performs with his group members, but as far as large-scale musical projects, that is not where his allegiance lies. “Right now my solo thing is where my focus is. Me and the boyz, we still do concerts together, matter of fact, we just did a concert together last Saturday in Athens, G.A., but as far as the fans, or people expecting a new project, that’s not where my focus is right now,” he told E2Wmag.

Music – “That’s always been something that I did”

Jizzal is an Atlanta native. He and the other Franchise Boyz, are all from the same side of town, and attended the same highschool, Jizzal told E2Wmag.

Currently, Jizzal is making appearances on The Turn up Tour, its roster includes Kyle of Jagged Edge,
Pastor Troy, and Sean Paul from the YoungBloodz, as well as other artists.

What’s the energy been like on the tour?

“So far so good, Arkansas showed major love!”

“Long as they following me on Instagram, and on Facebook,”

“Right now my solo thing is where my focus is. Me and the boyz, we still do concerts together, matter of fact, we just did a concert together last Saturday in Athens, G.A.”

“As far as the fans, or people expecting a new project, that’s not where my focus is right now,

What really keeps you motivated to keep going? Because you’ve been doing this for some time.

“My motivation is the love that I have for it, the life that it has provided for my family and the life it has provided for my children,”

On Favorite collaboration that you’ve done,

I gotta say, one of the ones that I really like that I never thought us two, would be together on a record is, is this new record that is going to be the next video shot, my next single, it’s called ‘get naked,’ and it features Pastor Troy.”

I’m actually going to shoot every video, that’s gonna be on this mixtape they’re putting out on me, but yeah I’m shooting a gang of videos, but yeah that’s the next video.

“Right now they (fans) can expect a gang of singles, I’m going to be putting out a gang of singles, and as far as the mixtape goes that’s not my focus that’s just something my support team wants to do,”

“Stay tuned, follow me, I’m a good leader,”

Although Jizzal is keeping some of his collaborations a mystery, for the time being he assures his experience and background will keep him going strong “I’ve learnt from the best, shout out to Jay-Z, shout out to JD. It’s going to be an incredible year though, I can say that much.”

“If you’re trying to get any of that music, follow me on Instagram,

“I’ll keep you up to date, and keep you up to speed, give you what you got, and give you what you need,”

“I wanna thank them for supporting me, I want them to keep on supporting me,

“I just wanna give a little love back in my last minutes of this interview,”

Still has love, for his fans, his group mates, his So So Def team, his family, who else?
